Relatively small menu that has something for everyone. The salads are great. The Bolognese schnitzel is significantly better than the Italian in Großkarlbach. The ambience is nice.

We were here on June 29th. to celebrate a birthday with 32 people. Everything was fine The service was super nice at all times and the drinks came super quickly in the mega heat. Despite a major event the day before and that day too, the toilets were super clean. We had ordered the BBQ buffet, it tasted very good to all guests. The meat and sausage were grilled very well, the wild garlic bratwurst is delicious. Many thanks to the grill master, who stood at the grill for us in this heat. Special thanks also to the 2 girls from the service, who mainly served us, you did a great job. ? We can definitely recommend the soul food cafe ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We have been here several times in small groups, most recently with our staff as part of our company excursion on 7.6.19. We were always satisfied, sat after our football rounds on the beautiful terrace with a great selection of drinks and good food. The highlight was the lunch buffet for our group on 7.6.19. We set the framework very straightforward in advance. It was everything as we imagined, the food was imaginative, great prepared & visually appealing and totally delicious.! Great staff, friendly service. We can really recommend the Soulfood Cafe.

We had dinner here a few times last summer and look forward to the coming season. The food was always very good, the rump steaks to the point and the service friendly. It's time to get warm again ??

I have always been very satisfied with the service and the food has not had any negative experiences and no matter how crowded the cafe, the terrace or the grounds in general, there was never a long wait. In the main season I recommend, especially with large unannounced groups, just call and reserve a table, does not hurt anyone and the team has the chance to coordinate the seats on the terrace and the staff. Then everyone has it easier and the conditions Chance to give each guest the same attention and satisfaction.

We were there during one evening with live music. Apparently the operator underestimated the fact that people come there who even want to eat something. Eternal waiting times were the result, you couldn't order all the dishes before the start of the concert, some of them were sent away and in the end no more orders were taken. Even the band was put off for dinner for the break. In addition, one was adapted to inquiries and the resulting complaints. Not very professional and definitely not to be recommended.

First of all, there is only 1 star because 0 stars cannot be selected and the review refers to the service, I can rate the food badly because there was nothing to get here apart from a portion of french fries! With live music you should be able to expect people to come. Unfortunately not the case here. Shortly after 7 am I tried to order two meals and were told that they should come again in half an hour. After half an hour (it was almost a whole) the second attempt. Again with no real success. Waiting time at least an hour, because too many people would have come without registration (and that with live music, who could have guessed ...) Just then agreed that you would only want 3 servings of french fries, which supposedly would go faster . Nothing there for 1 1/2 hours and then, when we asked again, we were told that the food had been accepted and the chips were now made and brought directly. 15 minutes later then 3 servings of french fries which were edible but in my opinion the fat was already close to the limit. But well, at least they were warm! During the discussions with the service you were kept very brief and tried to get rid of it. And that from several employees. That's a shame, I was really looking forward to the ambience and I'm really impressed here, but the service makes it impossible! Yes, a concert is a special situation, but you should be able to handle that as a venue with 12 years of experience. Conclusion: good ambience, poor to unsatisfactory service!

The area is well cared for except for some grass that is too tall. However, if you want to eat there as a group afterwards, you can expect unfriendly staff. The food itself tastes average.
